His designs have become so popular, he can't always get enough recycled material to fill all the orders. He supplements the recycled bits with new aluminum, so the exact percent of recycled content can vary month to month. Of course, making the jewelry also results in scrap aluminum, which is reused for a zero-waste approach.
The aluminum will not tarnish. Can be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water. Gently rub with a fine piece of steel wool and then wash with mild dish soap and water for occasional heavier cleaning or to brighten up the look.
