The spiral has found its way into the art of almost all cultures. It shows up in celtic art, native American petroglyphs, Japanese rock gardens, Hindu spiritual texts, Australian aboriginal paintings and African art. It also happens to represent the structure of our Milky Way Galaxy. No wonder this symbol seems to call to us.

The bright spiral pendant measures 2". It hangs on a multi-strand, all-recycled aluminum chain approximately 18" long. Each chain is hand made and the exact length may vary.

Hand made in North Carolina from Recycled Aluminum. Jay personally gets the aluminum from a scrap yard each month. Most of it comes in cable form, which he strips and separates. His designs have become so popular, he can't always get enough recycled material to fill all the orders. He supplements the recycled bits with new aluminum, so the exact percent of recycled content can vary month to month. Of course, making the jewelry also results in scrap aluminum, which is reused for a zero-waste approach.

The aluminum will not tarnish. Can be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water. Gently rub with a fine piece of steel wool and then wash with mild dish soap and water for occasional heavier cleaning or to brighten up the look.
