Jay starts with as much recycled aluminum as he can get his hands on, and then creates swirling, spiraling designs to represent feelings. The necklace comes with the small insert card so the meaning stays with your throughout the day. Also makes a great gift.

Fabric & Care

Hand made in North Carolina from Recycled Aluminum. Jay personally gets the aluminum from a scrap yard each month. Most of it comes in cable form, which he strips and separates. His designs have become so popular, he can't always get enough recycled material to fill all the orders. He supplements the recycled bits with new aluminum, so the exact percent of recycled content can vary month to month. Of course, making the jewelry also results in scrap aluminum, which is reused for a zero-waste approach.

The aluminum will not tarnish. Can be cleaned regularly with mild soap and water. Gently rub with a fine piece of steel wool and then wash with mild dish soap and water for occasional heavier cleaning or to brighten up the look.
