We've had so many requests for a really warm winter coat made from something other than organic cotton fleece, and this is the very best we've seen. This stunning coat is Fair Trade made from a combination of hand-sheared sheep and alpaca.
The animals are free-range roaming with pasture rotation. They have shelter available to them, but are not forced into cages. These animals are carefully tended to with limited shearing based on the weather, and absolutely no mulesing involved.
The coat itself is fashionable and warm with a lot of character. Three large buttons keep it closed. Wide knit collar and cuffs, tulip shaped hemline is slightly longer in back than in front. This is real wool and does have some of wool's characteristic tickle in the fabric. 31.5" long from shoulder seam to hemline in the front, 35.5" long in back. Unlined. Dry clean only.
