This funky, rectangular Candice bag is made from crocheting old VHS tapes and then lining it with re-purposed fabrics from thrift stores. This bag has tons of room and many pockets in the lining. There are outer pockets (3 1/2" deep) on each end edged with metal tubular "beads" from the inside of the tape case. The front flap has a button closure as well as tubular bead accents. It measures 10 1/2" wide x 5 1/2" high x 4 1/2" deep. The strap consists of a horseshoe shape on each end with a longer strap connecting the two.
This is one of the most creative reuse of outdated materials we've ever seen. It is truly a unique work of art. We raffled one of these off on our blog, so we already have a first review of this bag from the winner. |
